It's my first time of taking part in the Friday night with Friends... I have been stalking for a while.. If anyone is wondering about what I am going on about then click the link it sounds fun... it is hosted by the lovely Cheryll over at GONE STITCHIN you take a couple of photos of what you are working on and share over at Cheryll's blog..
Well I must confess I am not an experienced at sewing at all it's a new hobby I have taken up about a year ago when I retired... but at this time I have returned to work part time and I work 19 hours a week and two days of my week is looking after my Gorgeous little Grandchildren and any time left after that lot I have a play at my sewing machine... Below is my first attempt at a jelly roll quilt... this fabric was much cheaper than the moda fabric for me to have a wee practice on.. a few photos below I have some jelly rolls by Moda which I hope to put together in the future... The photo of the complete jelly roll quilt you can see it has not been pressed as yet... hot of the sewing machine as they say... I have to complete it as a quilt and then bind it... now the word binding brings me out in a cold sweat... Yikes but good old you tube I'm sure will help me with that...
My Moda Jelly Rolls
This Peter Rabbit fabric I am going to venture trying to make my little Grand-daughter a summer dress I made a very simple one for her last
year and that turned out good with the help of you-tube...
